After 14 months' maturing in American oak, there's plenty of oaky, spicy, almost resiny richness, all neatly balanced by the intensity and zing of preserved-lemon fruit and a silky, rounded texture.
If you don't like oaky wine, then it's not for you, but if you do, and you're looking for a white to take on the festive bird, this is a good candidate. It could also partner firm fish and rich fish dishes or hard cheeses. 12.5%
